Last Updated: 2025-11-24

Welcome to Spendly ("Spendly," "we," "our," or "us"), the AI-powered personal finance platform available on web, iOS, Android, and macOS. By using Spendly, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What Spendly Does
Spendly connects to your financial accounts through trusted banking partners to deliver automatic transaction syncing, AI-powered categorization, budgeting tools, spending insights and alerts, subscription tracking, and the Ask My Money assistant. Some features, such as shared wallets, may be released in the future.

2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Spendly. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for safeguarding your login credentials. Do not share your account or use it for unlawful purposes.

3. Financial Connections and Data
When you link bank, credit card, or investment accounts, you authorize Spendly and our banking partners to retrieve transaction data, balances, and related information to provide the service. We never store your bank passwords. Data handling is described in our Privacy Policy at https://spendly.top/privacy-policy.

4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments
Spendly offers a free tier with manual transaction entry and a Spendly Pro subscription with additional features such as unlimited bank connections, automated sync, advanced budgeting, AI assistant access, insights, and exports. Pro plans may include a 7-day free trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription will convert to a paid plan and renew automatically each billing cycle until canceled. Charges and billing dates are shown at checkout. Cancel anytime in-app; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds may be provided where required by law; contact us if you believe a charge is in error.

5. Acceptable Use
Use Spendly only for personal finance management and lawful purposes. Do not attempt to interfere with the service, reverse engineer our software, scrape data without permission, or use Spendly in a way that harms other users, our systems, or third parties.

6. Intellectual Property and License
Spendly owns the platform and content. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app and site for personal, non-commercial use (except for managing your own finances). You retain ownership of your data and grant us a license to process it as needed to provide the service.

7. AI Assistant and Insights
Recommendations, categorizations, and AI-generated answers are informational only and may not reflect real-time account data. Spendly does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always review your transactions and consult a professional for advice specific to you.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Spendly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Spendly in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflicts of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or regulatory changes. We will post updates on this page and notify you by email or in-app for material changes. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
